"It is our goal at the South Daytona Parks and Recreation Department to provide a creative and balanced system of leisure programs and recreational activities which are sensitive and responsive to citizen needs and continue to provide and maintain attractive park acreage." South Daytona has nine public parks and a variety of facilities for leisure pursuits. Groups may make reservations for picnic pavilions or register for a variety of classes by stopping by the Parks and Recreation Department office, located at the Piggotte Community Center, 504 Big Tree Road.
