ERAU Motorsports

As a team, we design and build a single seat hybrid electric race car with the help of undergraduate and graduate students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. We are a student operated venture that is funded by sponsorship support. For the 2010-2011 race year, the team is building a carbon fiber monocoque chassis along with an all carbon fiber suspension for the first time ever. Along with these unique engineering challenges, we also design and build our own electrical system that couples with our 250cc motorcycle engine to become a hybrid.
