Daytona Beach Carnival is an exhilarating celebration of Caribbean Nationality mixed with the diversity of cultures from all around the Caribbean Islands. This event highlights people coming together to celebrate life through music and entertainment.
With this being the second annual Daytona Beach Carnival, it will feature a white & whatever party, live music on the beach, and the main concert showcasing top entertainers and DJ’s from the Caribbean. It will welcome over 6,000 enthusiastic carnival goers from all around the world, and bring families together for a weekend of fun.
This Caribbean style carnival is very much like the Mardi Gras celebrations of New Orleans. We utilize the brightly colored costumes, rhythmic music, and a combination of dance that is truly Caribbean. Carnival celebrations have been known to attract the largest congregation of culturally diverse attendees and participants. This year we take great pride in inviting your organization, your company, to be a part of this community based cultural event that will provide direct exposure to the largest growing segments of the community which encompasses the Indo-Caribbean, the Afro-Caribbean, the Hispanic-Caribbean and the Asian-Caribbean.
Carnival is a festive season occurring before lent, usually around February or March. In this event people wear colorful masks and costumes and participate in a parade, which contains elements of a circus and a street party.This years Carnaval Costume Designer Yaaasantewah Rivera of Afro Rican Art
