Description
Celebrate Volusia County’s native animals during Wildlife Fest! Attendees can meet glove-trained birds of prey, observe sea turtles undergoing lifesaving rehabilitation, and visit booths staffed by nature groups and crafters.

The festival will also feature music, children’s activities and food vendors.
Animal rehabilitation staff will explain how they care for injured birds and sea turtles and offer tips to help conserve wildlife habitats. Children can buy or bring a stuffed animal and ask rehab staff to check it out for “injuries” at the bald eagle triage tent. There will also be a shark conservation station and presentations about Volusia County wildlife and artificial reef program.
Admission to the Marine Science Center will be free all day.
